Distinguished Scholarships
One of the pleasures of my position as Welty Professor is to work with
students who are applying for prestigious national scholarships. These
scholarships are highly-competitive and require a strong academic record
(ususally a GPA of 3.7 or above) and evidence of exceptional leadership
and public service.
BRITISH MARSHALL SCHOLARSHIPS
PURPOSE: British Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high
ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. The scholarships are
tenable at any British university and cover two years of study in any
discipline leading to the award of a British university degree.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be US citizens and hold a bachlor's degree
from an accredited US institution at the time of the scholarship and must
have a minimum GPA (after the freshman year) of 3.7.
