BSB 313-Methods and materials in the teaching of science in the secondary school
Please note: This class is only open to students admitted to Teacher Education. Please refer to the following website for more information: MUW Office of Field Experiences.
There is no required textbook, however, you will be required to join the National Association of Biology Teachers. The price for a yearly student membership is $39.00, which includes a subscription to American Biology Teacher.
BSM 342-Food microbiology
There is no required textbook for the lecture portion of the course.
The required lab manual will be Dr. Bruce Lacey's Laboratory Manual for Food Microbiology. This manual is only available for purchase at the MUW bookstore.
BSM 131L-General microbiology lab
The required lab manual contains selections from Benson-Brown's Microbiological Applications Lab Manual, which is only available for purchase at the MUW bookstore.
